How to post songs

We've decided to use dropbox links. As I never use dropbox (but I will now), could someone please post a short explanation of how to link abcs? I see that Carrotstash's link says ABC File Download. When I right click on a song in my Dropbox Surly Maidens folder, I just get a code. How to get the proper name like Carrot does? Or will the code automatically default to ABC File Download once I send it?

We talked about this in our Erebor room. But for the benefit of Gilster who might have the same issue.
What you do is:
- Drop the abc file in your own dropbox Surly Maidens folder
- Right click on the file and pick "copy dropbox link"
- Log into this Surly Maidens forum
- Go to the topic post where you want to add the link
- Select "insert a link" (it's one of those top little buttons)
- Paste the dropbox link in the url field and put a description, like "Download ABC file", or whatever you like (as long as it's clear).
- Press "insert"
- Press "send"
The topic post should now have your link.
Note, new members need to wait seven days to post their links on this forum, can't be helped. Just wait it out. After that period you can post in this fashion.
